Here the pig ignorance of our forebears shall dance gaily with the fever dreams of the maddest and cruellest ever to live, whilst at their feet disease, war and famine nip at each other like so many mangy mongrel pups!

I've set this blog up as a consequence of a longstanding urge I've had as a history educator to create an outlet in which I can discuss the mad, the bad and the ugly of history, outside the boundaries of the classroom. I'm a storyteller, I like to ramble and here's the place my rambling shall find a sickly, squalid home.
